Barbara Heilemann's Leadership Coaching and Consulting supports each individual in the development of their own voice as a leader, assists in the development of mindfulness and enhances their practice of strategic, influencing and management skills. Barbara's consulting programs are tailored to each executive's unique needs and expectations.

With a heavy focus on the development of personal strengths, Barbara's work has been exceptionally well received both here in Australia and overseas. She provides effective and relevant skill development sessions whilst also facilitating deeper personal insights into behavioural or cognitive changes. Her work focuses on strategic acumen, influencing skills, communication and engagement, positivity, people management, resilience, and purpose.

Barbara also offers the Enhanced Decision Making program.  This program incorporates discussion and experiential learning, offering participants alternative ways to change their thinking and make less biased decisions. Having the autonomy to choose a different way of thinking offers a greater likelihood of change than the standard awareness raising approach.  Barbara uses neuroscience to explain how the brain works in relation to bias and change.  Other options include motivation theory, emotional intelligence and positivity which academic research has shown to change minds and impact bias.

Barbara's consulting approach is based on her academic and applied knowledge of positive psychology, positive organisational scholarship, appreciative inquiry, leadership development, and neuroscience. She combines this knowledge with her 20 years management experience in financial and business services as well as her more than 15 years as a coach, researcher and academic.

Barbara works with large, small and government organisations as well as not-for-profits; her niche is working with women.
